Under the CHINT Group, Astronergy is an intelligent manufacturing enterprise focusing on photovoltaic cells and modules. Founded in 2006, it is one of the earliest private enterprises in China to set foot in the photovoltaic field. It has the capacity to design and manufacture various cutting edge technology solar products for the markets.

Both its bifacial and monofacial ASTRO series modules using large-size wafers could be perfectly applied in various scenarios of utility-scale power stations, commercial & industrial (C&I) PV systems and residential PV systems.

2006

Astronergy is founded and gets involved in PV industry

2008

Production capacity of crystalline silicon (c-Si) modules reached 100MW

2009

Astronergy supplied modules for the first batch of Golden Sun Program projects in China

2010

Astronergy supplied modules for Rovergo – the largest utility-scale solar power station in Europe at that time.

2012

Module manufacturing line construction in Gansu Jiuquan Manufacturing Base was completed.

2014

Astronergy purchased Conergy module factory in Frankfurt and started to manufacture modules in Germany.

2015

Zhejiang Haining Manufacturing Base was established
Anual PV module shipment hit 1GW

2016

Hangzhou intelligent factory started production as the first of its kind in PV industry
Zhejiang Haining transparent factory started operation
Thailand factory started operation
